			Technical guide: TSS procedure
Suspended matter measurements are used to quantify the content of matter retained by the filter medium after filtration. The protocol for measuring suspended solids (SS) is based on the European standard NF EN 872. The filter medium is a circular borosilicate glass fibre filter with a diameter of 47 mm. This method applies to water containing a pollutant concentration of 2 mg/L to 1000 mg/L.
